About us

Northwind Coffee Roasters was founded by two friends who were tired of stale supermarket coffee. We started in a garage with a single roaster that held two kilograms of beans, and today we ship thousands of parcels every month.

We work with twelve cooperatives in Ethiopia, Colombia and Guatemala. Every cooperative receives a fixed price per kilogram that is higher than the market average, and we visit each farm at least once a year.

Our team

The team consists of roasters, tasters, packers and customer support specialists. Everyone who works here drinks the coffee we sell, and every new colleague learns to roast a batch in the first month.
